1. WIN souls for the Kingdom of God

At The Lighthouse we believe that the purpose of each believer should be to WIN THE LOST AT ANY COST. As Jesus laid down His life to save us, we should lay down our life to follow Jesus and win the lost for the Kingdom of God.

"Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen." - Matt. 28:19-20 KJV

2. Love God's People

As Christians it is our responsibility to love others as God loves us. We should show that God lives within us through how we treat others. We show forth God's love through our servanthood, kindness, and acceptance of other people.

" Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself." - Matt. 22:27-29 KJV

3. Disciple God's People

It is the responsibility of the church to disciple believers. Once a believer has made the decision to follow Jesus Christ, they must be discipled and taught how God expects of them to live. As we grow in relationship with God, His Spirit will begin to permeate every part of our being and He will direct everything that we say or do.

"And when he had called the people unto him with his disciples also, he said unto them, Whosoever will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me." - Mark 8:34

4. Send God's People

Many believers mistakenly believe that their only responsibility is to come to church, but the Great Commission was meant for everyone - all believers have the responsibility to go into the nations and teach people about Jesus (Matthew 28:19-20 KJV). Therefore, it is our goal to equip believers for the work of the ministry and to send them into the nations that more people's lives may be changed and transformed for the Kingdom of God.
